NEW AFFORDABLE RENTAL HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES IN LEXINGTON!

Four (4) new rental units are being offered in Lexington for qualifying households. The units include:

· A 1-bedroom apartment at 104 Emerson Gardens, Emerson Gardens Road

· Two, 2-bedroom units at 1001-1003 Massachusetts Avenue

· A 3-bedroom, single-family home at 300 Woburn Street

Maximum rents will be based on you spending no more than 30% of your income on your housing. The current maximums are included below. Also, in order to qualify you must have a total combined household income no greater than the following:

Applicants must have minimum incomes too that are currently $13,120 for Emerson Gardens, $14,720 for 1001-1003 Massachusetts Avenue, and $22,120 for 300 Woburn Street to cover some basic utility costs and other expenses with current minimum rents of $328, $368 and $553, respectively.

Information Sessions to describe the Program and units available and answer questions will be held at the following dates and times at the Lexington Housing Authority Offices at One Countryside Village: Tuesday, February 23^rd at 7:00 PM & Saturday, February 27^th at 10:00 AM

Applications are due no later than Friday, May 7, 2010 to the Lexington Housing Authority at One Countryside Village, Lexington, MA 02420.
